Howard County Fire & Rescue Services has ordered three (3) new KME Stainless Steel Pumpers with 100” wide Severe Service cabs.  These units will be powered by a Cummins X12 500 HP motor, Allison EVS 4000 automatic transmission and Jacobs engine brake.  The stainless steel bodies will feature full height compartments on the drivers side and half height compartments on the officers side with hinged doors.  Features include a Hale QMAX pump rated at 1500 GPM, a 1000 gallon water tank, 30 gallon foam tank, 20” front bumper extension with front intake and a 2 ½” discharge, two crosslays, three (3) 2 ½” rear discharges, rear intake, Valor seating for five (5) personnel and Alcoa Dura-Brite wheels.  They will also feature Whelen emergency lights, FireTech scene lighting, an LED Roto-Ray, LED Traffic Advisor and FireCom headsets.  Patriot Fire LLC would like to thank Howard County Fire & Rescue Services for their continued trust and congratulate them on the addition of three more KME pumpers to their fleet.
