E-ONE Typhoon Stainless Steel Rescue Pumper

The Anne Arundel County Fire Department recently received this E-ONE 1500 GPM Rescue Engine on a Typhoon chassis. It is powered by a Cummins L9 450 HP motor with an Allison EVS 3000 transmission. The stainless-steel body features drivers and officers side full height/full depth compartments; a low hose bed design and a 500 gallon water tank. Features include a Hale QMAX pump, hydraulic generator, two (2) 200 foot cord reels and ground ladders stored in a through the tank design. Scene lighting includes a combination of Whelen Pioneer Body lights, and FireTech Hi-Viz cab lighting. Emergency equipment includes Whelen LED "M" series lights and a Whelen light bar. Rescue Engine 4 will be stationed with Rescue Squad 4 in Severn and is part of the Special Operations Division.
