E-ONE Typhoon 1500 GPM Pumper

Howard County DFRS - Long Reach Station 9 has taken delivery of their new E-One Typhoon 74 inch "Clean Cab" pumper. This unit holds seating for 5 crew members with H.O. Bostrom seats and a black severe duty interior. All SCBA will be carried in the transverse compartment behind the cab on a Slidemaster tray/toolboard. The pumper is powered by a Cummins ISL 9 450 hp engine with an EVS 3000 transmission. Features include a Hale Qmax 1500 gpm pump, 530 gallon water tank, three (3) crosslays,heated decontamination discharge on officer's side pump panel, front intake with swivel on the officer's side bumper, and a 2.5 inch discharge for a 200 foot attack line on the driver's side bumper. The Stainless Steel rescue body features a low hose bed capable of holding 1000 feet of 4 inch double jacket hose, 500 feet of 3 inch hose, two attack lines and one leader line. Duo Safety ladders included; 1-24 foot extension, 1-14 foot roof and 1-10 foot Fresno, which are inside a compartment accessible from the rear of the truck. Emergency lighting includes a variety of Whelen LED lights and a LED Roto-Ray, Federal Q and Whelen electronic sirens in the front bumper with an additional Whelen rear facing speaker. Whelen 12 volt scene lighting is mounted on the side of the body. A Firetech Hiviz 72 inch LED front brow light is mounted above the front windshield with Firetech Hiviz 21 inch LED light bars on either side of the cab roof and a 35 inch LED light bar on the rear above the hosebed is included, all with black housings.
