The Orchard Beach Volunteer Fire Department recently took delivery of a Custon Typhoon extreme duty long cab pumper with severe duty Interior and seating for six firefighters. It is powered by a Cummins ISL 450hp engine with an Allison EVS 3000 transmission. Features include a Hale QMax 1500 GPM pump, 780 Gallon 'L' shaped tank, driver's side high side compartments, officer's side half height compartments, ladder rack w/ 24 foot extension and 14 foot roof DUO-Safety Ladders. Additional equipment includes a 200 foot 1'' Booster reel, Fire Tech 72'' 12 volt LED brow light, FireTech 11'' 12 volt LED Side Lights and a Federal Signal emergency lighting package with an LED RotoRay.
